Welcome to Advanced News ! Welcome to the first edition of Advanced
News !. This first edition of our new monthly newsletter coincides with the launch of our completely re-designed website www.advgas.com. Since the original site was placed in 1999 there have been massive changes at Advanced Gas and the new web-site is intended to provide comprehensive information to our current and prospective customers from products and purities to cylinder sizes and MSDS sheets. The new site provides details of our increased product range with their full specifications. It also gives more information about our ability to supply specialized and customized products and enables you to download MSDS sheets without having to be a registered user. As well as this there is a “New Products” section featuring the huge range of products that we are currently working on. In order to satisfy the huge demand we have recently invested in our own tube trailer to complement our 3 rental trailers. This investment will enable us not only to offer trailer CO supplies to our US customers but, coupled with our investment in 2 new compressors, will also improve our delivery times. 2 – Butenes Cis-2-Butene and trans-2-Butene are hot new products at Advanced Gas. Using an isomerization process with a 1-Butene feedstock, our engineers have already manufactured sample volumes of product up to 99.5% pure, enabling us to publish specification sheets already. With only one other world-wide supplier, these products are in extremely high demand. Carbon monoxide has rapidly become our fastest growing new
product with purities available from 99.5% through to 99%. CO is used in a
wide range of applications from modified atmosphere packaging and catalyst
killing to use in the semi conductor industry.
