The major updating of our website www.advgas.com is now almost complete and we are now focusing on making it easier for our customers to find important information about us and our products – expect to see a few more cosmetic changes in the next months Part of our web strategy is to increase our presence on the major search engines and particularly Google – try typing R660a or any of our other major products such as isobutane or ethylene into the search engine on Google and see what happens !. Future changes may include adding Google search to our own site to make finding information easier. Pictures from The Air The Advanced Gas website is hosted by Adnet Services based near us in the US and run by Gary Henshaw II. In his part time Gary flies light aircraft and he was good enough to fly over us and take a few photographs from the air so this is what our manufacturing facilities look like from above ! Hydrogen Did you know that Advanced Gas has liquid hydrogen on site ?. We manufacture our higher purity ethane by hydrogenating ethylene (C2H4 + H2 = C2H6) and similarly for propane. As well as this, we use it to remove impurities from our lower purity hydrocarbons. Put together liquid hydrogen and our new cylinder preparation facilities (look for more new of this in the Jan 05 issue) and we are able to supply hydrogen up to N6.0 purity.
