SPC Data

The demands for consistent quality from the semi conductor industry for our carbon monoxide, propylene and methane mean that Advanced Gas is now developing Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data to enable us to better control our manufacturing processes.

From April, using our new administration system, analytical data will be automatically captured and SPC data produced monthly to assist us in setting targets and monitoring changes in our systems.

This SPC and CPK data will be available to all semiconductor product customers free of charge. Contact us if you would like to receive this data in the future.

UHP Carbon Monoxide Update

Two months after the installation of our new high purity carbon monoxide column our engineers have been busy testing purity and capacity with the result that we are now officially open for business.

Initial tests have shown that product quality exceeds our expectations with purities in excess of N5.5 being experience at low flows and N5.0 at flows which enable us to fill 25 300 cf cylinders per day.

Nitrogen levels in N5.0 purity are less than 1ppm – better than available from any of our competitors. Contact us if you would like details of pricing.

Methyl Acetylene

Methyl acetylene, produced from the distillation of MAPP gas,  is often used  in the manufacture of chemical intermediates for the production of pharmaceutical ingredients.

The same distillation produces high purity allene which has similar applications. Contact us for further details
